Semi-automatic inverter welding machine MIG/MMA-230 DPP (220V) "BRIMA"
Description
The MIG/MMA-230 DPP 220V inverter welding machine Brima CB-00000053 is a new generation digital inverter semi–automatic welding machine designed for welding with welding wire in protective gases (this welding method in accordance with ISO 4063-90 has the following abbreviation – MIG Metal Inert Gas, MAG Metal Active Gas). This machine is used for welding carbon and alloy steels, as well as aluminum. Active gases (carbon dioxide, gas mixture) are used as protective gases when welding MAG, which take part in the formation of the welded joint, and inert – when welding MIG (argon, helium), which do not chemically interact with metals and practically do not dissolve in them. Due to the protection, the welding zone is not exposed to harmful oxidative effects of the environment and the quality of the welded joint increases dramatically.
Advantages:
- With the help of this device, it is possible to weld thin-sheet metal, thanks to the double pulsation mode.
- Double pulsation allows welding in any spatial position.
- Supports burner operating modes such as 2T, 4T, special 4T, SPOT
- It is possible to install and save up to 10 working welding programs.
- In MMA mode, it is equipped with the functions of hot Start, Arc Force, AntiStick, and also has a built-in no-load voltage limitation unit (VRD unit).
- It is possible to use a wire with a diameter of 08/10/12 mm.
- Using the control panel and digital devices, welding modes, current and voltage values, welding wire diameter, type of protective gas, and current polarity can be selected and set.
- Reliable grounding of the source is carried out due to the presence of a grounding wire in the network cable, and in the absence of grounding contacts in the network itself, grounding should be done using the grounding bolt located on the back panel of the source.
- There is a power indicator on the front panel. There is also a protection indicator that is triggered as a result of an overload. The device will turn on on its own when the temperature inside drops to the required level.
- The BRIMA MIG/MMA230 DPP has stable welding characteristics when the mains voltage fluctuates up to ±10%. The welding voltage is adjusted based on the optimal values of seam width, seam reinforcement, weld depth and other required parameters specified in the relevant standards.
- When welding in a protective gas environment, a unique control scheme operates, which ensures less splashing, stable arc during welding, excellent weld quality and high productivity.
- It has a good load period of PN=60% and protection class IP21S
- The BRIMA MIG/MMA230 DPP is easy to move around the work area thanks to the handle located on the top of the case.

The voltage at the terminals is switched on before the arc is ignited. The higher this value (closer to 80-100 V), the easier and faster the initial ignition occurs, and the more stable the arc burns (especially on rusty metal or with base-coated electrodes). Low values are typical for devices with a safe voltage reduction system (VRD).

The minimum thickness of the supported wire. The use of 0.6–0.8 mm wire is critically important for car body repair and work with sheet metal (up to 1-1.5 mm), as this minimizes heat build-up and avoids burning of parts.
