Diamond circle 11V9 D50-T30-H20-U10-X3 D46 C100 HY-T10
Description
Diamond grinding wheels of shape 11V9— cup wheels with a conical working surface (45° angle), designed for profile and flat grinding, sharpening and finishing tools made of hard alloys, ceramics and other hard-to-process materials.
Decoding the labeling and assigning parameters
- 11V9(according to GOST 24747): a cup circle with a 45° cone angle is optimal for sharpening on the front/back surface, processing chamfers, grooves and profile edges. The conical shape gives access to difficult areas without touching the body.
- D50–D125(outer diameter):
- D50–D75: compact circles for small parts, sharpening miniature tools, working on desktop sharpening machines.
- D100: Universal size for most tasks on industrial and semi-industrial machines.
- D125: Increased rigidity and service life, suitable for batch processing and heavier modes.
- T30–T40(total circle height):
- T30: Lightweight design, less inertia — convenient for delicate finishing.
- T35–T40: increased rigidity, better dampens vibrations during heavy shooting.
- H20, H31.75(mounting hole):
- H20: a common size for small and medium-sized machines.
- H31.75(1 ¼"): a specific size for the flanges of imported machines; requires precise alignment.
- U10, U3, S70(diamond bearing layer height):
- U10: standard layer — optimal balance of resource and precision.
- U3: a thin layer for finishing and fine profiles.
- S70: specific geometry (possibly a bevel or segment) for special tasks — check the manufacturer's catalog.
- X3, X10(Diamond bearing layer thickness):
- X3: thin layer for high precision and minimum machining width.
- X10: Extended service life, suitable for serial operation.
- J75(diameter of the support end): an element for precise installation and alignment on the flanges — important for minimizing runout.
- D20–D251(grain size according to FEPA):
- D20–D46: very fine grain — for finishing, polishing, obtaining a sharp edge without chips.
- D64–D91: universal grain — for finishing and easy finishing.
- D126: medium grain — for active removal while maintaining good surface cleanliness.
- D181–D251: coarse grain — for roughing and quick removal of allowances.
- C75–C125(diamond concentration):
- C75: Reduced concentration — better chip removal and less heating, suitable for viscous materials and delicate processing.
- C100: Standard — optimal balance of durability and cutting ability.
- C125: increased concentration — maximum life and durability, but higher risk of overheating in case of incorrect modes.
Differences between circles:
- In terms of grain size and concentration: there are options for all stages — from rough removal (D126 C75) to ultra-fine finishing (D20 C100). The C125 and coarse–grain (D64–D76) laps are designed for intensive work, and the fine—grain (D20-D46) laps are designed for finishing.
- According to the mounting hole: H20 and H31.75 — fit the flanges of your machine.
- According to the geometry of the diamond—bearing layer: U10/X3 — universal, U3/X10 - specialized (thin layer for precision or wide for resource).
- By bundle: different bundles (RB, HY, NB51, etc.) can be optimized for different materials and modes — for example, some work better with COOLANT, others allow short-term dry treatment.
- In diameter and height: D50–D75 for small jobs, D100 for most tasks, D125 for heavy duty.
What tasks are these circles suitable for?
- Sharpening and finishing of carbide tools: cutters, drills, cutters, reamers — the 11V9 conical shape is convenient for processing the front surface and chamfers.
- Profile grinding: grooves, radii, shaped edges — due to the 45° angle and precise geometry of the layer.
- Processing of hard and brittle materials: hard alloys, technical ceramics, glass, composites — the diamond layer effectively cuts without strong heating under the right conditions.
- Fine-tuning measuring and precision tools: where a sharp edge and minimal roughness are important.
