Every fisherman knows the feeling of bitterness when a big fish leaves at the last moment because of a failed hook. The creator of "Rybotyaga", a man by nature striving for maximum results, experienced such gatherings especially acutely. Inexpensive models broke down, and when fishing alone, there was a catastrophic lack of a "third hand" to get the prey into the podsak.
One night, a flash of insight gave the answer: what is needed is not a tool, but a new principle. This is how the blueprint for the future "Trap Bridge" was born - a device that has nothing to do with a podsachek. However, the path from the idea to the series turned out to be full of drama.
The year of the search and the St. Petersburg "samostroy"
The first hurdle was harsh: find production in Russia. Almost a year of searching has shown that it is impossible to produce a product at an adequate price at home. Then we went to an enterprise in St. Petersburg, which took over the prototype... for $300.
But that was just the beginning. When the creator received the order, he was stunned: instead of the stated 3 by 0.7 meters, they sent him a 3 by 3 meter raft. There was a damning response to the outrage.: "We thought that the drawings were wrong, and decided to do it our own way."
I had to urgently cut the structure in place, glue and redo it. It was from this "baptism of fire" that the first working copy was born.
The birth of the name: sloe liqueur and "miracle yudo"
The next stage was the rebranding. The boring, formal name "Fish Ladder bridge" did not reflect the essence. The creator stopped sleeping and eating until a colleague, showing sympathy, promised: "I'll come home, pump a couple of glasses of sloe liqueur and come up with a name for your miracle yud."
I received a text message this morning. The word was Russian, fabulous, with an element of fantasy. That's how appeared Rybotyag is a succinct name that embodies both the image and the meaning of the invention. Then they drew a logo (it took 67,000 rubles), and the device got a face.
"Ice cream" for a fisherman: a philosophy of new sensations
The first screening at the exhibition "Hunting and Fishing in Russia" was modest: an imitation film of a pond, crushed reeds and two hours a day with a swimming pool. But even then it became clear: the main thing in Rybotyag is experience.
The author compares his brainchild to ice cream: "You can discuss its harmfulness as much as you want, but until you try it, you won't get high." So it is with Rybotyag. He breaks conservatism and gives us what the whole adventure was about – the opportunity to take fish out where it was previously impossible, using the device as a ladder bridge, a lifebuoy on ice, a tent pad, or even a safe bed for a child in a car.

Rybotyag is not just a tackle. This is a ticket to a world where you finally have that "third hand", and the offensive gatherings of pisces remain in the past. Conservatives will continue to argue while creative fishermen are already dragging trophies through the air. Do you want to try something that cannot be explained in words, but you need to experience it personally?
Join those who have said yes to new experiences. Pass the Rybotyag from hand to hand, and you will understand: this fabulous beast was created to win.
