In 1923, albert Schnitzler made the first hand drill. From its name (Metallbohrdreher – drill for metal) was the name of the company Metabo. Today at the traditional German company employs 2000 employees, of which 1,200 in the town of nürtingen, Germany. 25 subsidiaries and 100 offices provide access to high-quality Metabo products in almost all countries of the world.
