VIKING MIG 200 DUBLE PULSE SYNERGIC PRO is simple and convenient to use during welding operations. Description of functions
Pulse welding mode in semi-automatic mode
In the MIG/MAG pulse welding mode, short-term high current pulses are superimposed on the operating current, which accelerate the melting of the filler wire, which avoids splashing and metal influx. In addition, a denser weld structure is achieved in this mode. Pulse welding mode allows you to remove up to 95% of all impurities and gas bubbles from the welding bath by exposure to high current pulses that shake the welding bath, making it more homogeneous. The MIG/MAG pulse welding mode provides a controlled heat supply to the welding seam, improving the welding quality. This eliminates warping and overheating of the metal, improves the appearance and geometry of the welding joint.
The MIG/MAG Pulse, Duble Pulse mode is used for welding products made of aluminum, its alloys, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals that are sensitive to heat input.
Arc inductance adjustment
Setting the arc inductance allows you to make the welding process smoother. During MIG/MAG welding, the filler wire creates a short circuit when touching the product, which provokes a decrease in the voltage value to almost zero. This leads to a sharp change in the welding current and rapid combustion of the filler wire with a large spray. The inductance setting serves to solve this problem. The maximum value of inductance is a smooth, smooth seam roller and deep penetration. The minimum inductance values are a convex weld roller and not deep penetration, an increase in metal splashing is possible.
Pre and post gas adjustment

Setting up the annealing of the burn back wire
The "Burn Back" function allows you to adjust the time and voltage of wire annealing. During this time, the output welding voltage will not be switched off after the wire feed is stopped. Due to this, the possibility of snapping the filler wire in the welding crater at the end of the welding cycle is eliminated. In addition, the "wire annealing" function makes it possible to prepare the protruding end of the wire for subsequent arc ignition. The presence of this mode facilitates the process of subsequent arc ignition, increases the stability and quality of the welding seam at the beginning of the cycle.
Setting the wire feed speed up to the moment of ignition
This setting allows you to adjust the feed rate of the filler wire as precisely as possible even before the arc is excited. Thus, the welder gets the opportunity to adjust a smoother wire feed from the moment the button is pressed on the burners until the moment the welding arc is excited. Due to this, a controlled process of arc ignition is achieved, the "impact" of the wire on the workpiece at the time of ignition is excluded.
Synergetic control algorithm
The VIKING MIG 200 DUBLE PULSE SYNERGIC PRO inverter provides a synergetic algorithm for monitoring and controlling the specified welding parameters. Due to this, high welding stability is achieved. The constant connection between the current source, the supply drive and the burner allows you to automatically reduce or increase the voltage of the welding arc with a decrease or increase in the feed rate of the filler material. As a result, the welder does not need to be distracted by adjusting the parameters of the inverter, which allows to increase productivity, welding quality and concentrate on the process itself.
TIG DC mode
TIG argon arc welding on direct current allows you to work with different grades of metals and alloys based on them, including stainless steels in a wide range from 10A to 200A. In this mode, pre- and final gas purge settings are available to improve welding quality. In the TIG mode, a beautiful uniform seam is formed with an optimal penetration depth. The presence of the LIFT function ensures clean and fast arc excitation when touching the non-melting electrode of the product being welded.
MMA mode
