The BORT BHK-20Li cordless circular saw (without battery and charger)is a lightweight, compact tool designed to work in confined spaces, at heights and in hard–to-reach places. The model weighs only 1.1 kg and is small, which allows you to hold the saw with one hand and perform precise cuts where using a heavy network tool is difficult or impossible.

Light weight and compact
The saw's weight is 1.1 kg. 600W brushless motor

Compatible with the Makita 18V LXT battery system
The saw works with batteries of the Makita 18V LXT standard, including BORT's own batteries of this platform. This allows you to use existing batteries from a screwdriver, hammer drill or other tool. The battery type is Li-Ion. The battery and charger must be purchased separately. The ability to take 2-3 batteries of different capacities with you to the facility ensures continuous operation.
Reverse
The reverse function allows you to rotate the engine in the opposite direction. If the disc is jammed in the material due to internal stress of the wood or misalignment, the reverse releases the saw without damaging the workpiece and without applying brute force. Without this function, you would have to pull out the saw with effort, risking breaking the disc or spoiling the saw.
Illumination of the work area
An LED backlight is built into the case. It turns on when the trigger is pulled and illuminates the cutting line. This is useful when working in dark corners, under a table, inside cupboards, in basements with insufficient lighting, or when working outdoors at dusk. The backlight does not cast shadows from the hand or the saw body, which increases cutting accuracy.
Idle speed adjustment (0-18,000 rpm)
The speed of rotation of the disk depends on the force of pressing the trigger button. The harder the pressure, the higher the RPM. This allows you to smoothly bring the saw to the material at low speed and gain full power already during the cutting process. For soft wood and laminate, a high speed (14-18 thousand rpm) is needed for a clean cut without chipping, for plastic and aluminum, the speed is reduced to 6-8 thousand rpm so that the material does not melt. The smooth start eliminates a jerk at the moment of launch, which is especially valuable when working with one hand.
Cutting depth and angle of inclination
The maximum cutting depth at an angle of 90° is 22 mm. This is enough for through-cutting of an inch board, two layers of 10 mm plywood, laminate with a substrate or a chipboard facing plate. The maximum angle of inclination of the sole is 90°, which allows you to make vertical and close to vertical cuts, trim edges and form grooves. The diameter of the disc is 76 mm, the landing diameter is 10 mm.
Overload protection
The electronic protection turns off the motor or limits the power when the load is too high. This prevents the motor from burning out when the disc is jammed or when trying to cut unsuitable material. Overload protection makes the tool more reliable and forgives mistakes when working with unfamiliar materials.
Quick-release cover
