Turning through cutters are used for processing the external and internal surfaces of parts on lathes. Straight turning cutters
Straight-through turning cutters are applicable for boring surfaces, trimming ends, chamfering and a number of other operations. The increased rigidity made straight-through turning cutters the most convenient for longitudinal/transverse feeding.
In accordance with GOST 18879-73 and 18868-73, a straight through cutter can be:
- by the quality of the boring – rough (roughing) or finishing;
- by design – solid cast or with a cutting plate made of carbide or high-speed steel;
- by the position of the working part – left or right.
Turning tools, bent through
Structurally, pass-through bent cutters are a specialized tool that is designed for grinding the outer surface of workpieces on lathes.Each turning tool can be attributed to rough and finishing versions. Roughing is mainly used for "rough" processing of products, while finishing allows you to get a surface that maximally corresponds to the necessary parameters.
All manufactured products undergo strict control at all stages of creation, therefore they fully comply with the necessary standards and are designed for a long service life.
Straight thrust turning cutters
Straight thrust turning cutters are designed for drilling the workpiece along the axis of rotation. They are used for processing parts for finishing and for trimming elements with ledges, including at an angle of 90° to the axis. Kirzhach Tool Factory produces cutting tools with hard alloy plates according to GOST 18879-73.
According to GOST, the insertion angle of the plate is equal to:
- 0° (for processing steel and other viscous materials);
- 10° (for processing cast iron and brittle materials).
The angles of the cutter in the working part are 90° to avoid vibration during operation.In the cutters produced by the Kirzhach Tool Factory, the plates are made of hard alloys T15K6, T5K10, VK8.
Thrust curved turning cutters
Thrust curved cutting cutters are used as cutting tools on lathes of the turning group. The main purpose is the cutting of surfaces of stepped configurations, collars, trimming of end parts.
Each thrust curved cutting tool, which is produced by the Kirzhach Tool Factory, has the following advantages:
- Long service life;
- High wear resistance of the cutting part;
- The ability to grind complex surfaces.
