What is the advantage?
The brushes are designed specifically for mechanized stripping: they allow you to remove insulating coatings (varnish, plastic, rubber) without damaging the conductive core. The key secret to their effectiveness lies in their design: they use corrugated wire with a polished surface. Thanks to its corrugated structure, the brush gently “flows around” the wire, and the polishing reduces the risk of scratches on the conductor.
At the same time, the precise concentric rotation and proper balancing ensure stable operation even at high speeds.
How it works in practice
The stripping process is based on the operation of a pair of brushes: the cable passes between two rotating elements. The direction of rotation directly affects the behavior of the cable in the processing zone:

- The brushes rotate in opposite directions — this creates a retracting force, and the cable is drawn into the working area on its own. This is convenient for serial processing.
- The brushes rotate in the same direction — no tensile force is generated, which is important when working with fragile or particularly thin wires.
The degree of stripping is adjusted using a stepless screw: it is used to set the distance between the brushes and the pressure force, achieving the ideal result for a specific type of cable.
Range for different tasks
The range includes several versions to meet different requirements:
- Insulation stripping brushes, steel wire (STA) — a classic solution for standard tasks. Available diameters: 30, 35, 40 and 80 mm. The thickness of the wire is selected for the type of insulation: 0.10–0.30 mm.
- Insulation stripping brushes, latuned steel wire (STM) - increased resistance to wear and corrosion. The diameters are the same: 30, 35, 40, 80 mm. Suitable for intensive use.
- Insulation stripping brushes, steel wire embedded in plastic — rigid pile fixation and stable brush geometry. Models with diameters of 35 and 40 mm are available. Suitable for lines where result repeatability is important.

- in service centers for repairing large equipment, where you have to strip a large number of wires of different thicknesses;
- in cable stripping areas before installation or crimping, when manual stripping no longer copes with the volume.
Practical recommendations for use
To ensure that the brushes last a long time and operate safely, experts recommend following a few simple rules:
- Observe the permissible RPM. Each model has its own limit on the rotation speed — exceeding it can lead to brush damage and an emergency situation.
- Choose the right brush for the task. For rigid or multi‑layer insulation, it’s better to use a brush with thicker wire or combine brushes of different stiffnesses.
- Monitor wear. As the bristles wear out, the stripping efficiency decreases, and the risk of damaging the conductor increases. Regular inspection and timely replacement are the key to consistent quality.
