Scope of application: NUM brand cable can be used for household and industrial installation of electric lighting inside wet and dry rooms.
The cable is a functional and constructive analogue of the products of NYM® (VDE 0250). A distinctive feature of these products is their modern appearance and high-tech installation.
Description: the cable core consists of twisted insulated conductive cores, the insulation of which is made of polyvinyl chloride plastic, on top of which a filler for the inter-core space is applied, giving the cable a circular shape in cross-section. The filler is made of a highly filled polyolefin-based compound that does not contain halogens. The cable sheath is made of a finely filled polyvinyl chloride composition of light gray color. The shell is applied over the filling and fits snugly to it, while ensuring that any adjacent elements of the cable product are freely separated from each other without damaging them.
The conductive core is copper, round in shape, corresponds to classes 1 or 2 according to GOST 22483. Conductive cores with a cross—section up to 10 mm2 inclusive are single—wire, with a cross-section over 10 mm2 are seven-wire. Cables can be laid in building structures of buildings and structures, in dry, wet and damp rooms, inside and outside brick or concrete walls, except for direct embedding in raw concrete.
- Operating temperature: from minus 30°C to plus 50°C
- The temperature of the gasket and/or rewinding: not lower than minus 15 °C
- The permissible bending radius of multi-core cables during laying should be at least 7.5 Dn, single—core -10Dn, where Dn is the outer diameter of the cable.
- Type of climatic design: UHL
- Accommodation category: 3 and 4 according to GOST 15150
- Fire hazard class: O1.8.2.5.4 according to GOST 31565.
The long-term permissible heating temperature of the cable cores, the permissible heating of the cores in emergency mode, and the permissible short-circuit currents comply with the requirements of GOST 31996.
The main container for products with a nominal value from 2x1.5 to 5x6 is a bay, for others it is a wooden drum. Marking of products is carried out along the entire length by a drip-jet method.

It is important to remember: NUM is one of the many types of power cables. Along with it, there are others, for example, VVGng, PPGng, KGTP and others, each with its own specific application.
KVBBSHVNG(A)-LS: "Armored" defender for complex tasks
Control cables with copper cores, armored, non-flammable when laid in groups according to category "A", with reduced smoke and gas emission, are designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical signals in stationary installations up to 0.66 kV.Gorenje

Scope of application: The cable is designed for fixed connection to electrical appliances, apparatuses, and the assembly of terminals for electrical switchgear with a rated alternating voltage of up to 0.66 kV, when the cables are required to be highly resistant to mechanical stress.
Description: the core of the cable is a twisted conductive core, the insulation of which is made of PVC plastic. On top of the twisted insulated cores, a filler for the inter-core space is pressed out, made of a polymer composition based on a halogen-free polyolefin, with improved fire safety properties.
A protective cover is applied over the filler, consisting of:
- protective barrier made of a polyvinyl chloride composition with reduced fire risk applied to the filler;
- armor, consisting of two galvanized steel tapes superimposed on a protective barrier in a spiral so that the upper tape covers the gaps between the coils of the lower tape;
- a protective hose made of a polyvinyl chloride composition with reduced fire risk and applied over armor. This ensures that any adjacent elements of the cable product are freely separated from each other without damaging them.
The conductive core is copper, round in shape, corresponds to Class 1 according to GOST 22483.
- Operating temperature: from minus 50°C to plus 50°C
- The temperature of the gasket and/or rewinding: not lower than minus 15 °C
- The bending radius of cables during laying and installation must be at least 10Dn, where Dn is the outer diameter of the cable
- Type of climatic design: UHL
- Accommodation category: 1-5 according to GOST 15150-69
- Fire hazard class P1b.8.2.5.2. according to GOST 31565.
The letter "A" in the designation of cables indicates the category of non-proliferation of combustion during tests according to GOST 60332-3-22.Gorenje This type of test corresponds to the limit of the spread of combustion PRGP1b according to GOST 31565.Gorenje A distinctive feature of ng(A)-LS cables is the non-spread of combustion in category "A" during group laying (GOST IEC 60332-3-22) and standardized gas and smoke emission.Gorenje is a unique feature of NG(A)-LS cables.
The main container is a wooden drum. Marking is performed along the entire length of the product by the drip-jet method.

It is important to remember: KVBBSHVNG(A)-LS is a striking representative of an extensive family of control and armored cables. There are other brands, such as KVVGng, KVVGEng, KPPGng, etc., designed for different conditions and tasks.
PVS: Flexible "helper" for devices and extension cords
PVS wires are designed for connecting electrical appliances and power tools, household appliances, small-scale mechanization equipment and other similar machines and devices, for making extension cords with a voltage of 380 V for 380/660 V systems.

Description: the conductive core is copper, round, multi—wire. The design of the conductive core corresponds to class 5 according to GOST 22483.
The insulation of the conductive cores is made of PVC plastic. The insulated cores are twisted. Insulated cores of five-core wires can be twisted around the core. The shell is made of white PVC plastic. The sheath in the wires is applied to fill the gaps between the wires, giving the wires a round shape. To ensure the mobility of the cores during operation and for cutting wires, a layer of talc is applied between the insulation and the shell.
- Operating temperature: from minus 25°C to plus 40°C
- The temperature of the gasket and/or rewinding: not lower than minus 15 °C
- Minimum bending radius: 8 Dn, where Dn is the outer diameter of the cable
- Type of climatic design: UHL
- Placement category: 4
- Fire hazard class: O1.8.2.5.4 according to GOST 31565.
The wires do not spread gorenje with a single laying.
The main container is a bay. Marking is performed along the entire length of the product by the drip-jet method.

It is important to remember: PVCs are just one type of connecting wires. Together with it, for example, PuGV, PVSng, etc. are used.
The choice between NUM, KVBbSvng(A)-LS and PVS is determined by the task:
- Permanent wiring in the building? Choose a NUM power cable.
- Management and control at an industrial facility with harsh conditions? You need an armored KVBBSHVNG(A)-LS control cable.
- Connecting a drill, refrigerator, or making a carrier? Your option is a PVS wire.
By understanding the differences, you will be able to make an informed and correct choice, ensuring reliable and safe power supply to your project. And the variety of brands in each category allows you to find the optimal solution for any, even the most specific, case.
