Areas of application
LESSMANN HFB packing brushes work effectively in machining centers, in particular in deburring and finishing lines with planetary brush systems.
They are suitable for processing:
- welded parts;
- sintered parts;
- hydraulic and pneumatic workpieces;
- aluminum blanks;
- other types of products.

Pile materials
The LESSMANN HFB stuffing brushes are manufactured using special technology with high packing density. Different pile material options are available:
- the standard version is high-quality polyamide PA 6.12 (characterized by high rigidity and wear resistance);
- highly abrasive materials: silicon carbide (SIC), aluminum oxide, ceramics, diamond grain.
Selecting the material for a specific task allows you to:
- speed up the deburring process;
- achieve uniform rounding of the edges;
- extend the life of the tool.

Clamping system
The brushes are compatible with accessories for use in wet conditions, including clamping screws equipped with holes for supplying coolant. On request, models with individual holes are available to meet the specific requirements of the customer.
Constructive improvements
The HFB model is constantly being improved to meet current technical requirements. Recent changes have affected the hull design: it has a curved shape. This provides several advantages:
- the flexibility of the brush application increases;
- the stability of the case increases;
- dynamic rotation creates optimal conditions for precise operation;
- reduces the accumulation of chips and oil in the brush during processing, which reduces abrasive wear.
Pile placement options
|
The brush design can be adapted to specific requirements:
- complete filling of the case with lint;
- distribution of abrasive fibers by specified sectors;
- the pile is positioned at an angle.
This flexibility makes it possible to optimize the processing process, for example, to improve the discharge of coolant depending on the direction of rotation.
Recommendations for users
- The feed rate. Choose the speed individually - it depends on the desired result. The optimal speed is usually noticeably lower than the maximum.
- Accessibility of the treated areas. Before starting work, make sure that all edges and surfaces that need to be treated are accessible to the brush.
- Uniformity of processing. Do not remove the brush from the workpiece prematurely, especially at the moments of start-up and run-out - this will ensure uniform processing.
Thus, the HFB pad brushes combine innovative engineering solutions, reliability and adaptability. They will become a valuable tool for enterprises that value high processing accuracy, durability of equipment, and optimization of production processes.
