Instant threat identification: features and advantages of the Kerber-T detector.

Share:

Kerber-T is a portable ion drift detector developed by YUPH to detect trace amounts of explosives, narcotic drugs, hazardous chemicals and chemical warfare agents. The device allows analysis in the air, on the surface of objects, as well as on the skin and clothing of people.

The IDD Kerber-T ion mobility spectrometer meets the requirements for technical means to ensure the security of transport infrastructure facilities, regulated by documents: No. 16/UNTR/1-2258 dated 07/03/2013, No.16/UNTR/1-3827 dated 12/15/2010 with Addendum No. 16/UNTR/1-758 dated 24.02.2014, for the category of technical equipment - portable detectors of vapors and traces of explosives. (Conclusion of FGKU "Military unit 35533" No. 16/16/C6/2/2331).

IDD Kerber-T, as a technical means of detecting and identifying explosives, has the sensitivity to detect the presence of the following trace amounts of explosives and their components: nitroamines (rdx, octogen, tetryl), nitroesters (nitroglycerin, ethylene glycol dinitrate, TEN), nitroaromatic compounds (TNT, dinitrotoluene), organic peroxide compounds (peroxide acetone, GMTD), inorganic nitrates (ammonium, potassium and sodium nitrate), as well as mixed explosives based on them.
