While standard input control of raw materials has already become the norm, modern industry dictates new requirements: specialists need to analyze angular welds, complex parts of equipment without dismantling, micro-objects and even hot surfaces. It was on these analytical capabilities that the engineers of YUPH focused on when developing the "T" version.
Analytics in hard-to-reach places and micro-objects
The main design feature of the Metexpert-T was the updated, narrowed shape of the bow. This solution allows diagnosticians to reach the most difficult sections of metal structures, internal corners and narrow joints. In addition, due to the proximity of the infrared sensor to the measuring window, the device is able to analyze ultra—small objects with high accuracy - thin wire, fine shavings and fasteners.
Extended range of media and elements
The important difference between the "T" version is its versatility. The device is designed to measure the mass fraction of chemical elements not only in metals and alloys, but also in powders, liquids, oils, ores, soils, water, plastics and jewelry.
- Coverage of the elements: The device identifies up to 81 chemical elements.
- Range: From sodium (Na, Z=11) to curium (Cm, Z=96).
- Accuracy: The measurement range of the mass fraction of the elements ranges from 0.001 to 100%.
- Coating control: The ability to measure the thickness of coatings in the range from 2 to 15 microns is built in, while the range of readings is from 0.001 to 110 microns.
Extreme analytics and Security
For enterprises where continuous technological process is important, the optional possibility of analyzing surfaces heated to 500 °C is provided.
Special attention is paid to operator safety. The device implements software control of radiation intensity and an optical sensor for the presence of a sample is integrated. The equivalent dose rate at any accessible point at a distance of 0.1 meters from the analyzer surface does not exceed 1 mSv/h.
Technical characteristics and data reliability
The basis of the analyzer's computing power is specialized professional Linux-based software, which guarantees fast operation without failures and freezes. Interaction with the device is carried out through a large modern color LCD display, which allows the operator to work in protective gloves without using a stylus.
