A Simple Action That Saves Effort
The GMK-60 manual magnetic lifter engages with metal instantly—simply touch it to the surface.
No need to:
- Pry up edges with your fingers;
- Struggle to separate a sheet from a stack;
- Readjust your grip with both hands;
- Waste extra motion trying to get a hold;
- Worry about pinching your fingers when setting the workpiece down.
This is especially noticeable when handling flat sheet-metal blanks and parts that are awkward to pick up quickly by hand.
With a magnetic lifter, the metal is lifted immediately in a single motion.
Comfort Throughout the Entire Shift
The magnetic lifter itself weighs just 0.8 kg. Yet with the GMK-60, you can lift up to 60 kg*.
It puts minimal strain on your hand and quickly becomes an indispensable everyday tool. It is convenient for continuous use across full working shifts during high-volume metal handling.
Operators typically notice the difference on day one:
- Fewer unnecessary bends;
- Reduced strain on fingers and wrists;
- Faster handling of sheet stacks;
- More precise placement during transfer;
- Less tiring, repetitive micro-strain.
Where Speed and Ergonomics Matter
The Prof-Magnit GMK-60 manual magnetic lifter is used in production bays, warehouses, fabrication shops, and metalworking plants—anywhere personnel handle sheet metal, steel parts, and small blanks daily that must be continually lifted, rearranged, and transferred manually.
This is not complicated equipment requiring an adjustment period; it is a straightforward workplace tool that makes familiar tasks faster and far more ergonomic.
Operating Recommendations
For maximum efficiency, use the GMK-60 on smooth steel surfaces to achieve full, flush contact between the magnet face and the metal.
*Maximum lifting capacity is achieved on flat steel workpieces at least 15 mm thick, free of rust, scale, and paint coatings.
Lift elongated workpieces or large sheets without bending and carry them with multiple operators by attaching 3–4 magnetic lifters along the sheet edges. This prevents flexing, oscillation, and detachment caused by uneven load distribution or inertial forces.
Use exclusively with ferromagnetic materials (not suitable for non-ferrous metals such as austenitic stainless steel, aluminum, copper, silver, etc.).
Safety Guidelines
- The GMK-60 is not designed for diamond-plate/tread metal, flexible thin sheets, pipes, or round stock where complete surface contact cannot be achieved. In such conditions, holding force drops significantly.
- Lift loads smoothly without jerking.
- Do not expose workpieces or the magnetic lifter to temperatures above 80°C.
