Skid‑resistant pads from SK‑Polymers can be found on the steps of shopping complexes, stores, pharmacies, banks, and office centers: the manufacturer’s logo is displayed on the front (non‑ribbed) side of the products. The company’s products solve several problems at once: they ensure the safety of visitors, protect the steps from wear, chips, and cracks, and also help maintain cleanliness — the ribbed surface effectively cleans dirt from shoes.
Among the key advantages of SK‑Polymers rubber treads:
- High level of safety. Thanks to the well-thought-out corrugation, the surface of the steps becomes as stable as possible even when wet or icy.
- Durability and resistance to external influences. The products do not fade or discolor, retaining their aesthetic appearance for a long time.
- Ease of maintenance. To clean them, just use a brush — and the surface will look like new again.
- Protection of steps. The treads absorb the impact load: they protect vulnerable areas (especially the corners of the steps) from damage when heavy objects fall.
- Flexibility of selection. The range is designed taking into account different operating conditions: the manufacturer offers options adapted to varying levels of foot traffic, step dimensions, and space design requirements — you can choose a product that fits perfectly into the interior or exterior.
All products of SK‑Polymers are manufactured in strict accordance with the technical specifications TU 2530‑003‑88668243‑2016, which guarantees the consistent quality of each batch.

We offer harmonious mounting solutions to match the color of the tread.
Adhesive mounting
- Surface preparation.
- The ambient and material temperature should be between +10°C and +45°C;
- Direct sunlight and temperatures below the dew point (to prevent moisture condensation) must be avoided;
- The surface must be dry and free of chemicals, grease, and oil;
- Rubber should be thoroughly roughened (so that no smooth areas remain) and dust should be removed.
- Mixture preparation.
- We recommend using TIP_TOP brand adhesive.
- Thoroughly mix the required amount of Cement SC 2000 adhesive with UT-R-20 hardener (weight fraction 4%) until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
- The pot life of the adhesive.
The pot life of Cement SC 2000 adhesive after mixing both components is 2 hours.
- Bonding.
Application of adhesive: cover the surfaces evenly with two thin layers each
- The first layer must dry completely (minimum drying time: 30 minutes).
- Dry the second layer until it reaches a slight tackiness; if it dries out, apply an additional layer.
Bonding:
- The surfaces intended for bonding should be placed one on top of the other so that no air bubbles form, then roll or press them firmly.
Cement SC-2000 adhesive has a fast drying time.
- Adhesive consumption per 1 m².
For a single application, approximately 500 g/m² is required.
