Used to restore threaded holes in body parts, complex-shaped parts, large-sized parts or high-cost parts. Repair of threaded holes is performed by installing spiral or solid V-shaped thread inserts. This allows for a stronger thread than the original.

The existing V-COIL technology allows for repair of threads: М2 (6Н) - М36 (6Н); G1/8" - G1"; UNC2" - UNC 1 1/2"; UNF 1/2" - UNF 1 1/2"; BSW 1/8" - BSW 1"; BSF 3/16" - BSF 1.

The procedure for repairing threaded holes:

• After determining the basic parameters of the threaded hole to be repaired, such as the type, size, thread pitch, and hole depth, the completeness of the repair kit is determined.
• This is a drill of a certain diameter, the required number of threaded inserts (in case of repairing several holes) for a given type of thread and hole length, a tap for cutting threads for the insert (Attention! The taps are marked with the nominal size of the thread being repaired), a special tool for installing the insert.
