The company "Second Wind TM", Chelyabinsk, was established in 2006 with the aim of producing thermal masks. The design of the thermal mask is the result of almost 30 years of work by the Ural inventor Igor Mineev. The mask helps the body effectively fight the cold and the associated temperature discomfort. This dramatically expands the opportunities for a huge number of people whose activities or hobbies are associated with staying outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Along with the thermal theme, the company is actively developing new areas of personal protective equipment, such as:

• anti-smog,
• bactericidal (antiviral) masks
• masks for protection from dust storms

In its activities, the company is focused on the development and production of innovative products. This was made possible through collaboration with a number of research and specialized teams.

Thanks to the St. Petersburg Institute of the Arctic and Antarctic, it became possible to test thermal masks at the Antarctic polar station Vostok in extremely low temperatures: up to – 74 °C.

Cooperation with the departments of Otorhinolaryngology and Biochemistry of the Chelyabinsk Medical Academy was realized in the form of clinical trials of thermal and bactericidal masks for safety
