Kirskabel

The founding date of the plant is considered to be 1729, when the Khlynovsky merchant Grigory Vyazemsky founded an iron foundry on the bank of the Kirs River. The products were of high quality. Evidence of this is the order for the production of tinned iron on both sides for the construction of the first roof of the Winter Palace.

The third workshop became the forerunner of cable production, and the first products of the new production profile were aluminum wire of the ATV brand, aluminum rod and copper wire.

In 1946, a complete renovation was carried out. The plant received its name "Kirskabel".

1968 – the beginning of the production of cables with mineral insulation.

Today, "Kirskabel" is actively developing, mastering new types of products, participating in investment projects. The range of cable and wire products manufactured by the enterprise is very wide.

In 2002, the production of SBZPU for the needs of the Ministry of Railways began, as well as cables with low smoke emission LS for nuclear power plants,

Since 2004, the plant has been producing LAN cables of categories 5e, 6, 7 and radio frequency cables of the RG6, RG11 type.

In 2007, JSC "Kirskabel" began producing self-supporting insulated
