Isollate

The company "Special Technologies" was established in 2002 on the basis of the Institute of High-temperature Electrochemistry of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with several military-industrial complex enterprises.

The first product of the companies "Special Technologies" was the liquid ceramic insulation coating Izollat. In 2003, a patent for the invention was obtained (RF Patent No. 2251563). In total, to date, there are 8 patents related to various materials of the Izollat trademark.

Later, the technology of applying diamond–like coatings DLC was mastered - an amorphous carbon coating with a thickness of 1-1.5 microns, combining the strength of diamond and the slipperiness of graphite. The use of DLC coating makes it possible to significantly increase the service life (by 5-20 times) of tools and equipment in contact with viscous metals: aluminum, copper, nickel, titanium-magnesium alloys, fiberglass.
