Selecting a set of keys
Which hand tool is the most popular? Most likely, the majority will answer — a wrench. It is required both in production and at home, in workshops, garages, agriculture, housing and communal services, construction — wherever there is work on the installation or dismantling of threaded connections.
It is very convenient when there is a key at hand for any occasion. Sets of keys are best suited for this. You can buy them with a ready—made set, or you can order them at your discretion — and they will assemble everything you want into a set for you - you can only use keys, you can add other useful tools to the keys.
Naturally, sets, in fact, like the keys themselves, can be classified into groups:
- horn, cape and combined (horn-cape);
- hexagon (imbus, HEX) and TORX, TORX tamper;
- end faces.
When completing a set, you can vary the intervals (for example, 6-24 or 8-32) or the number of keys in the set. If necessary, you can double the number of keys in the set of some particularly "running" key in operation - usually it is 17x19 or 14x17. Tool suppliers always go to meet customers in such cases.
It is worth noting at first glance not obvious, but a very important feature of the ready—made kits, which they pay attention to late - already at the time of using the purchased kit. Here, in Russia, the combination of sizes in the key differs from the European one. And the sizes of one 14x17 key, beloved by all cyclists, in the "European" set will most likely look like 14x15 and 17x18. The same can be said about the popular 17x19 key. That's the difference...
The sets of keys and tools themselves can be purchased in a bag with pockets or a suitcase, sewn from a good water-repellent fabric, as well as in a plastic or metal box.
