The State Unitary Enterprise of the Donetsk People's Republic "Donetskstandardmetrology" is an organization that implements state policy in the field of metrology and metrological activities aimed at ensuring the uniformity of measurements and protecting citizens and the economy of the Donetsk People's Republic from the consequences of unreliable measurement results. The State Unitary Enterprise of the Donetsk People's Republic "Donetskstandardmetrology" is an organization that implements state policy in the field of metrology and metrological activities aimed at ensuring the uniformity of measurements and protecting citizens and the economy of the Donetsk People's Republic from the consequences of unreliable measurement results. The State Unitary Enterprise of the DPR "Donetskstandardmetrology" has all the necessary conditions and appropriate powers to perform such metrological work as:

• verification and metrological certification of measuring equipment;
• certification of test equipment;
• certification of measurement techniques;
• metrological certification of measuring laboratories;
• conducting state and control tests of measuring equipment;
• carrying out measurements in the field of state metrological supervision.

The State Unitary Enterprise of the DPR "Donetskstandardmetrology" includes 10 metrological units, including in the cities of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka, Yenakiyevo. The entire reference base of measuring equipment has been preserved and maintained at the proper level, which allows for verification and metrological certification for almost all types of measurements. The reference base consists of 287 units of the initial standards of the center and 3770 units of working standards, which are used in the verification departments to determine the accuracy characteristics of measuring equipment used in all legally regulated areas of metrological activity. In addition, the center is equipped with mobile verification laboratories for on-site verification of current and voltage transformers, fuel dispensers and automotive scales.

The center employs more than 120 metrological examiners and engineers who have special training and periodically upgrade their qualifications .

Every year, over 400,000 measuring instruments pass through the metrological departments, from 4 to 15 thousand of them are considered unsuitable for use, which prevents the consequences of unreliable measurements in such areas as:

• protection of human health and life;
• quality control and food safety indicators;
• accounting of energy and material resources; mutual settlements between seller and buyer;
• environmental conditions and occupational safety, etc.

In the Republic, about 441 measuring laboratories have proof of technical competence through their metrological certification.

The high quality of our services and customer satisfaction are guaranteed through the implementation of the Policy proclaimed by the Director General of the Center, within the framework of a functioning quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015.

It should be noted that the center closely cooperates with the metrologists of enterprises and organizations of the Donetsk People's Republic. Advanced training courses have been organized and conducted on the basis of the State Unitary Enterprise of the DPR Donetskstandardmetrology in accordance with the procedure established by law.

The center's management pays great attention to the training of young metrologists, cooperating with universities of the Donetsk People's Republic, providing students with the opportunity to practice in laboratories and departments of the center, as well as in teaching special disciplines in the field of metrology by leading specialists of the center.
