In 1997, a branch of the Moscow Scientific and Engineering Center "SNIP" was established at the plant - the largest research and production complex for the development of nuclear measuring and information technologies, instruments and control and control systems. In order to design new and modernize the manufactured equipment, as well as to attract young specialists of Taganrog Radio Engineering University to the enterprise, a division of the enterprise was created in Taganrog.
JSC "Pyatigorsk Plant "Impulse" has a quality system that meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001, confirmed by the TUV-CERT certificate, which guarantees a high level of quality of the equipment supplied and the work performed.
The products of JSC Pyatigorsk Plant "Impulse" are used in radiation monitoring systems of all radiation-hazardous facilities of the nuclear industry and energy in Russia, at nuclear power plants in Armenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Finland and the Czech Republic, in Russian and foreign research institutes and centers, using nuclear reactors for experimental purposes. Besides that, equipment with the trademark of JSC Pyatigorsk Plant Impulse is used on all Russian nuclear-powered ships.
