The company's history begins in 1880, when, by decree of Emperor Alexander II, cartridge production was established in Tula. By 1882, the plant was producing over 30 million rounds per year and actively supplying the Russian Imperial Army. Over the years, the company played a significant role in supplying ammunition during the First and Second World Wars, and continued to expand its product range in the post-war period.
Over the past 15 years, it has mastered the production of a wide range of civilian cartridges for target practice, self-defense, sports, and hunting, which are supplied to domestic and international markets under the TULAMMO brand.
