JSC LZOS is a leading Russian manufacturer of optical glass and fiberglass, large-sized astronomical mirrors, space lenses, various optical parts and instruments.
JSC LZOS produces almost 95% of the optical materials needed by hundreds of research institutes, design bureaus and enterprises in Russia that develop and produce optoelectronic devices and systems.
JSC LZOS has all the technological alterations that provide a full cycle of manufacturing optical devices. The plant has testing equipment that provides all types of tests, including unique ones - in a 70-meter vacuum chamber, the largest in Europe. In all optical devices created and manufactured in Russia, optics made of optical glass of JSC LZOS are installed.
One of the most important directions in JSC LZOS is the development and production of night equipment devices. JSC LZOS produces more than 60 types of observation devices and has become a technical and production "testing ground" for the development and implementation of advanced achievements in the field of night technology.
In addition to the manufacture of optical materials, JSC LZOS is the undisputed leader in Russia and in the world in the manufacture of large-sized space and astronomical optics. All space equipment for remote sensing of the Earth (remote sensing) is equipped with large-sized lens lenses and mirrors designed and manufactured in JSC LZOS.
To date, JSC LZOS has not only not lost the previously created scientific, technical and production potential for the manufacture of large-sized optics, but, as a result of purposeful actions, including investments of its own funds, has significantly increased scientific and production capabilities in this area, using advanced computer technologies and modern interference control methods.
Over the past 15 years, JSC LZOS has implemented at the global technological level more than 120 Russian and international projects for the manufacture of large-sized astronomical optics. JSC LZOS supplies its products to more than 30 countries around the world.
