TIG-250 P AC/DC BRIMA is a universal inverter installation designed for argon arc welding with a non–melting tungsten electrode (this welding method in accordance with ISO 4063-90 has the following abbreviation – TIG Tungsten Inert Gas) materials such as stainless, carbon and alloy steels, aluminum, titanium, nickel, copper, brass alloys, etc.
Main features:
- The possibility of using direct current ( DC) and alternating current (AC) current. Carbon, stainless, alloy steels, as well as various alloys are recommended to be welded in DC TIG mode, and aluminum and alloys based on it in AC TIG mode.
- This machine has a pulse mode of operation, which allows welding in various spatial positions, welding of small-thickness parts and reduces the requirements for the welder's qualifications when working with vertical and ceiling seams.
- When welding in AC TIG mode, the current changes direction (positive and negative). Using the "half cycle balance" control, the balance between the positive and negative components of the arc is adjusted.
