RGK DM-12 Digital Multimeter
Description
The RGK DM-12 portable multimeter is used for fast ringing of circuits, diagnostics of various malfunctions of electrical appliances, determination of capacitance of capacitors, checking the operability of diodes. This reliable model solves many household and professional tasks in the fields of construction, repair, maintenance of electronic equipment, etc.
Technical features
- Automatic selection of the measurement range.
- Work with alternating and direct current.
- The HOLD function.
- The bit depth of the scale is 3 ½.
- Display backlight.
REL mode
The relative measurement function is used in cases where it is necessary to exclude a certain constant value from the result, as well as to minimize the influence of external factors on the readings and improve accuracy when working with small capacitors.
Checking capacitors and diodes
When checking capacitors, a separate indication is provided in the RGK DM-12 digital multimeter, which is displayed on the display in cases when the test object is closed or has a capacity exceeding the measurement limit of 2000 mF. This model functions in a similar way when the circuit with the diode under test is open, or it is connected in the opposite direction.
Measurement safety
When the limit values of 600V/10A are reached on the input channels, an audible alarm is triggered. The device is protected from voltage drops according to CAT II 600V class.
Power system and maintenance
In order to extend the life of the batteries, the device automatically turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity. Maintenance of the RGK DM-12 multimeter with capacity measurement does not require special knowledge and a lot of time. For all routine operations, such as replacing batteries or fuses, nothing is required except a screwdriver and instructions.
