RGK DM-10 Digital Multimeter
Description
The RGK DM-10 digital multimeter is a device for measuring various parameters of power grids, equipment diagnostics, checking diodes for operability and ringing circuits. Due to its compact size and ease of mastering the basic functions, this model is an excellent choice for home use.
Key advantages
- Measurement of DC power, voltage, resistance, temperature.
- The bit depth of the measuring scale is 3 ½.
- Display backlight. HOLD button to lock the values.
- Light weight - 185 g.
Principle of operation
The device reacts to the electromagnetic field of alternating current and signals this with an audible alert and a light indicator. As the fixed voltage increases, the frequency of the audio signals increases, and the color of the tip changes from green to red.
It works quickly and simply
The limits and measurement modes are conveniently set by a rotary controller. The readings are displayed on the display of the RGK DM-10 portable multimeter in a large, easily distinguishable font and are updated 2-3 times per second. When checking the diodes, a separate indication is provided for those test situations when the circuit with the test object is open, or it is connected in the opposite direction.
Safety
When the limit values of 600V/10A are reached, an audible alarm is triggered on the input channels. The device is protected from voltage surges according to CAT II 600V class.
Temperature measurement
With the help of a complete thermocouple, a multimeter can measure temperatures up to 80 ° C. When connecting more advanced sensors of the "K" type, the measurement limit increases to 250 ° C.
Power system and maintenance
The device is powered by two AAA batteries, one set of which is included in the delivery package. In order to save battery power, the multimeter with the RGK DM-10 temperature sensor automatically turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity. Maintenance of the device does not require special knowledge and a lot of time. For all routine operations, such as replacing batteries or fuses, nothing is required except a screwdriver and instructions.
