Description
The Ermenrich Ping MK40 current measuring pliers are designed to measure direct and alternating current without breaking the circuit. In addition, they have functions for measuring voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle. There is also a thermocouple for temperature measurement. Other features of the meter include ringing the cable to detect short circuits and breaks, checking diodes, contactless voltage detection, and detecting hidden wiring and sockets.
The pliers are suitable for both professional and domestic use, for example, for wiring in an apartment or for troubleshooting an electrical network. The special feature of this model is the low-resistance voltmeter (Low-Z) function. In this mode, the voltage is measured at a minimum resistance. This reduces electromagnetic interference and increases measurement accuracy. In addition, the Ermenrich Ping MK40 current clamps have a low-pass filter (LPF), which also increases the accuracy of the final result. There is a reset function when measuring direct current (DCA Zero).
