Description
The Fluke T5-600 tester is a universal meter designed to perform work in networks with an operating voltage of up to 600 V. The device combines the functionality of a multimeter, which provides measurement of the values of basic parameters, and current clamps used for contactless determination of current strength with a nominal value of up to 100 A, in wires and tires up to 13 mm thick.
The Fluke T5-600 tester selects the mode automatically for direct current or alternating current, so you don't have to be distracted by any switching while testing the converters.
The current meter has the form of an open grip (OpenJaw), which makes it possible to speed up work: traditional current clamps have to spend time opening and closing the jaws. Also, this design feature of the Fluke T5-600 tester makes it possible to take measurements in hard-to-reach places and confined spaces where conventional pliers simply will not fit or will not be able to open.
The safety of working with Fluke T5-600 is ensured by timely warning the user about the threat of electric shock. A special LED indicator will notify you if the measured voltage level is higher than a dangerous value for humans.
The tester is equipped with a HOLD function, which ensures that the current readings are recorded on the digital indicator. This will allow you to count the results after taking the measurement.
The removable design of the probes makes it easy to replace them in case of damage or when using a different type of tips. To ensure that the wires do not interfere with your current measurements, special probe clips are located on the back of the Fluke T5-600 tester housing. The main probe can also be fixed in the working position. At the same time, its contact part protrudes relative to the housing, which makes it possible to make measurements in the same way as with a pen-type multimeter or a two-pole probe.
