RESANTA SAIPA-135 Welding Machine
Description
The SAIPA-135 inverter semi-automatic RESANTA welding machine with the MMA functionis designed for manual electric arc welding with direct current wire in a protective gas environment - carbon dioxide, argon or a mixture thereof. It is used for high-quality welding of low-carbon steels, low-alloy and stainless steels, cast iron and other metals in construction, installation and repair work of varying degrees of complexity. Built-in overheating protection protects the unit from breakage. The wire feed rate and welding current can be adjusted, which allows you to achieve high quality of the welded joint.
Among welding machines, practical, convenient and multifunctional are welding semi-automatic machines of the Resanta brand. Their positive feature is the ability to perform high-quality welding of both non-ferrous and ferrous metals without reinforcement with additional elements. It is believed that semi-automatic equipment is very easy to master even for a beginner.
Features and benefits:
- Additionally, the MMA welding function is equipped (in addition to MIG/MAG). Thus, the semi-automatic machine is suitable for a larger number of buyers who doubt the choice of welding equipment. Thus, the buyer receives a device with two modes of operation for a very affordable price.
- Protection class IP 21, that is, "against large particles and vertical raindrops".
- Protection against overheating and low mains voltage, which allows you to protect the device from breakage.
- The burner is not removable.
The main advantage of the semi-automatic is that the device automatically supplies consumables, or rather an electrode wire, with which the arc is ignited and metal products are welded. This unit is called a semi-automatic, as it allows only partially mechanize the welding process. Unlike automatic welding, which is completely performed by programmed equipment, in semi-automatic welding, only the wire feeding process is mechanized. Nevertheless, such mechanization has significantly increased productivity: the welder does not need to be interrupted to replace the electrode, the arc burns more stably. In addition, semi-automatic welding machines, unlike automatic machines, allow you to directly control the process of seam formation. This means that such compounds are obtained with higher quality and require less modifications.
There are both universal semi-automatic machines and conventional ones. What unites them is that they are all equipped with an electrode wire feed mechanism. However, universal semi-automatic welding machines differ in that they have a wider application than conventional devices. Universal semi-automatic machines can be used both for welding in the environment of protective gases in MIG/MAG modes, and for welding with self-protective wire, etc. The MIG mode is used for welding in an inert gas environment, for example, argon or helium. MAG welding is carried out in an environment of active gases. In addition, some models have an MMA mode. This mode can be used when working with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In this case, the semi-automatic machine is used to perform manual arc welding, which is performed with piece electrodes. This type of work is carried out at constant current, the electronic filling itself controls the welding current, as a result of which the seams are smooth and neat.
Principles of operation:
The device is made in a metal case with an opening wall. On the front panel there is a welding current regulator, a welding wire feed regulator, a "Network" indicator, and an "Overheating" indicator. The burner inside which there is a wire feed channel and openings for the supply of protective gas. The device is equipped with a forced ventilation system. The power source is an inverter based on IGBT transistors. The principle of operation of the inverter is to convert an alternating mains voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz to a constant voltage of 400 V, which is converted into a high-frequency modulated voltage and rectified. The device has built-in overheating protection and is equipped with adjustments of the current and the feed rate of the welding wire depending on the material and thickness of the workpiece to be welded.
The feeding mechanism feeds the welding wire into the welding torch.
