The devices of the self-propelled models of the GROST TOWER are self-propelled hydraulic scissor lifts equipped with a platform for lifting and lowering loads and people with tools, according to the maximum lifting height and load capacity.
Horizontal transportation of the lift requires hard, flat and smooth floors with a slope of no more than 10-15%. Self-propelled Tower versions differ from non-self-propelled ones by the presence of an electric wheel drive system and a control handle (similar to the accompanying self-propelled stackers). This modification made it possible to obtain the ease of movement of the lift without significant costs.
The electrical circuit of the lift allows you to use a 220 V network for operation. The batteries are charged not through a separate device, as with most lifts, but via an electric circuit integrated into the overall system. Thus, the lift drive can be powered from the mains and from the battery pack. This is a great advantage for completing work with low batteries.
We recommend using the mains power function (if connected), especially on lifts with high lifting capacity and lifting height. With regular use of the network, the battery life increases significantly, compared with lifts that operate only from the battery.

An oil pump powered by an electric motor supplies high-pressure oil through a valve block to the lifting oil cylinder, which causes the platform to rise slowly. The valve uses a pressure balance circuit, its closing and opening can only be controlled by an electromagnet, so load fluctuations will not affect the stability of the ascent and descent.
