BRIMA MIG-350 is a semi-automatic inverter welding machine designed for welding solid wire in a protective gas environment (this welding method, in accordance with ISO 4063-90, has the following abbreviations – MIG (Metal Inert Gas), MAG (Metal Active Gas). The semi-automatic machine is used for welding low-carbon, low-alloy, carbon and alloy steels. During MAG welding, active carbon dioxide is used as protective gases, which takes part in the formation of the welded joint, and inert gases are used during MIG welding (argon, helium, welding mixture). Inert gases do not chemically interact with metals and practically do not dissolve in them. Due to the protection, the welding zone is not exposed to harmful oxidative effects of the environment and the quality of the welded joint increases dramatically.
Main features:
- The front control panel has two digital displays showing welding current and voltage values.
- The inductance regulator allows you to adjust the softness of the arc, the width of the seam, the size of the drip transfer and the depth of the weld. On a rigid, low-temperature arc, (inductance at a minimum) it is good to cook thin-sheet metals, raise the vertical and cook the ceiling seam, and on a soft arc, at maximum inductance, the depth of the boil increases, the welding bath is wider, and the splashiness is lower. When welding at currents conventionally up to 100 A, try to keep this parameter in lower values, that is, the dynamics of the arc (the rate of rise of the short-circuit current) should be high. And vice versa – with increasing current, the inductance should increase, respectively, the dynamics of the arc (the rate of rise of the short-circuit current) should decrease. You should also pay attention to the fact that this adjustment works most fully on mixtures where the argon content is at least 75% (and higher). With the use of carbon dioxide, this adjustment is barely noticeable.
- Switch between 2- and 4-stroke modes. In the 2-stroke mode, welding is performed by constantly pressing the button on the burner holder. In 4-stroke mode, press the button to weld, press the button again to stop.
- In case of deviation from the set welding current value, there is a digital current monitoring indicator on the front panel.
- The presence of a trolley allows you to place and move the welding source and feeding mechanism on it, which allows for maximum convenience during welding operations.
- The welding current of the MIG-350 BRIMA can be adjusted using the regulator on the control panel. A regulator with a clear scale and a clear symbol.
- Reliable grounding of the source is carried out due to the presence of a grounding wire in the network cable, and in the absence of grounding contacts in the network itself, it should be grounded to the body of the device using the grounding bolt located on the back panel of the source.
- There is a protection indicator on the front panel, which is triggered as a result of overload. The device will turn on automatically when the temperature inside drops to the required level.
- The MIG-350 BRIMA has stable welding characteristics with 380V mains voltage fluctuations up to ±10%. The welding voltage is adjusted according to the strength of the welding current.
- When welding in a protective gas environment, a unique control scheme operates, which ensures less splashing, stable arc during welding, excellent weld quality and high overall productivity. Argon-carbon dioxide mixtures 80/20 give particularly good results.
- It has a good load period of PN=60% and protection class IP21S.

Distribution of responsibility
