Description
The Ermenrich NetGeeks NP45 multifunction cable tester is used to determine the parameters of the telephone and computer network, as well as to search for a twisted pair. With this tool, you can measure the length of the cable, find damage, breaks and short circuits, check the quality of the connector crimping, and much more. The tester is useful for specialists working in the field of installation and repair of various twisted pair networks in industrial, office and home environments.
Ermenrich NetGeeks NP45 is suitable for basic network testing and detection of breaks, short circuits and crossed pairs, measuring the distance to problems (the maximum length of the tested cable is 600 meters). The cable length is determined using the TDR method - pulse reflectometry – in the range from 2.5 to 200 meters. Additional functions include NCV (safe contactless voltage detection), VFL (highlighting cable damage during its gradual study), PoE test (determining the type and location of power equipment on the line; suitable for standard (IEEE 802.3af/at) and non-standard types).
The package includes a transmitter, receiver, crocodile clip, patch cords. Both the transmitter and receiver are powered by the built-in battery.
