AMO LN360 Laser Level
Description
The AMO LN360 laser level is designed for finishing and repair work. The device projects a 360° horizontal line and a vertical line with an accuracy of ± 1 mm/5 m. Due to its high performance characteristics, the model is equally well suited for both construction professionals and home craftsmen.
Effective range
Bright rays are clearly visible at a distance of up to 20 m, while the model can be used in conjunction with the receiver at distances up to 50 m, which is very convenient for street work - landscaping, installing fences, etc.
Design features
The lines can be turned on both together, in the form of a cross, or separately, to save battery power or better match the current task. The prisms of the emitters can be removed for alignment, if necessary.
The AMO LN360 laser level is equipped with a USB charging port, which will be useful if “AA” batteries are used.
Installation options
The device can be placed on any flat surface, while the slope up to 3 ° is automatically compensated, and when this limit is exceeded, the lines begin to flicker. For comfortable work at an angle, the level is equipped with a metal sleeve with a 1/4” thread, which is used for mounting on a tripod.
Reliability and ergonomics
All corners and protruding parts of the level are rubberized. The housing is protected from construction dust and water according to IP54 class.
The AMO LN360 laser level fits comfortably in your hand, and the large buttons are comfortable to use with gloves. Light weight and dimensions ensure ease of use and transportation.

Specifications
- Linear: The most popular type. Projects one or two perpendicular lines (a cross). Ideal for interior work: laying tiles, installing furniture, or leveling cornices.
- Linear 3D and 4D: Professional devices that create 360° closed lines around their axis.
- 3D gives one horizontal and two vertical planes. 4D adds a second horizontal line (often near the floor), which is indispensable when pouring the screed.
- Combined (Linear and dotted): In addition to lines, it projects points (zenith, nadir). This helps to "transfer" the tags from the floor to the ceiling, which is important when installing lighting or partitions.
- Laser self-leveling: Indicates the presence of a pendulum mechanism. The device aligns the beam itself if it is placed on an uneven surface (within 3-5°). If the tilt is too high, the beam will start flashing, preventing an error.
- Optical: A classic geodetic instrument. It does not build laser beams, it requires work in tandem with an assistant and a rail. It is used outdoors for foundation and road work, as it is not afraid of the bright sun.

- Vertical / Horizontal: The basic option for simple tasks (mounting shelves, leveling paintings).
- Scan angle (e.g. 100° or 240°): Indicates the length of the line. The larger the angle, the less you need to rearrange the device to capture adjacent walls.
- 360° (circular marking): The line runs around the entire perimeter of the room. This allows you to work in the entire room at once without turning the level. Ideal for stretch ceilings and floor screeds.
- Points (up/down/ forward/sides): Called a "plumb line". They are used to transfer labels from the floor to the ceiling (for example, when installing lamps) or to quickly arrange partitions at right angles.

This indicator (Ingress Protection) determines how well the device body is protected from dust and moisture. This is critically important for the laser level, since dust inside the case can settle on the prism and distort the accuracy of the beam, and moisture can disable electronics.
- The first digit (0-6): Protection from dust and solid particles.
- The second digit (0-8): Protection from water.
- Letter X: Protection for this parameter has not been tested.

This is the maximum distance from the instrument to the measuring point at which the laser beam can be detected by a special receiver device (detector).
- Outdoor work: It is almost impossible to mark the foundation or facade on a sunny day without a receiver.
- Large-scale facilities: Allows you to work in large workshops, hangars or on open construction sites.
- Save time: You don't have to wait for dusk or build intermediate points to "reach" the far wall.

- If you only work indoors: standard models with a range of +5°C are suitable.
- For facade and street work: choose models with a lower threshold of -10°C or -18°C. At low temperatures, the usual levels may be inaccurate or discharge quickly.
- Upper limit (+50°C): important when working in summer in direct sunlight to avoid burning out the laser emitter.
