Digital Viewfinder

Micro-USB port

Using the built-in USB port, you can connect the RGK D120 rangefinder directly to your PC and process the data stored in the device's memory in the LDM Studio program included in the package.

The LDM Studio program allows you to download data from the device's memory and export it to Excel in the form of a table. At the same time, each memory cell contains information about the measurement mode — distance, area or volume, and the unit of measurement, and also stores all intermediate measurements. If necessary, the data can be printed in tabular form directly from the program window.

You can also work with a rangefinder connected to a PC or laptop using the "Read" and "Clear" buttons available in the LDM Studio interface. At the same time, real readings will be displayed on the virtual screen of the rangefinder.

Level and inclinometer

The digital bubble level allows you to:

• Make measurements at an angle and then bring them to the horizon.
• Align the rangefinder RGK D120 during measurements with an accuracy of up to tenths of a degree.
• Check the horizontal position of flat surfaces.

The top-end rangefinder model RGK D120 has a wide range of functions that meet all the requirements of construction and repair teams.

• The calculation of area and volume is performed by sequentially measuring two or three sides. During the measurement, a prompt for the next measurement is displayed on the screen. All intermediate data will remain on the four-line screen, so you will get not only the final parameter, but also the length, width and height of the measured object. This will be useful, for example, when gluing wallpaper or laying linoleum: you will immediately know not only the quadrature, but also the required length of the sheet.
• Calculation according to the Pythagorean theorem helps to determine an unknown parameter using indirect measurements. In this way, you can get the height of a building or even a separate section on the wall of a house. Activate the Pythagorean measurement mode, and the rangefinder RGK D120 will prompt the necessary measurements using a special indicator on the screen.
• Addition and subtraction allows you to perform simple arithmetic operations right during the measurement process. You can add and subtract both the measured length, area, and volume.
• The measurement of a given distance is used to postpone a certain length, for example, when marking a line into segments. This function will allow you to punch holes for pipes at the desired height, mark the wall for installing furniture, etc. When activating the function, you just need to set the required segment, and the rangefinder RGK D120 will indicate using the indicators on the screen which way to move the device.
• A delayed measurement will eliminate the error that occurs when the measurement button is pressed. Thanks to the pause after pressing, you can position the RGK D120 rangefinder horizontally and get a more reliable result even without a tripod. Also, this function will allow you to take measurements from an uncomfortable position when it is difficult to reach the buttons or there is a danger of knocking the aimed rangefinder off the target by pressing the button.
• Continuous measurement mode ensures that an accurate perpendicular to the measured surface is obtained from the measuring point or the distance to the angle. Turn on the mode and slowly tilt the device up and down, and the rangefinder RGK D120 will display the minimum and maximum values, where the minimum will be perpendicular — the most accurate measurement brought to the horizon, and the maximum — the distance to the angle.

Built-in memory

The device's memory block stores up to 999 measurement results, including length, area and volume. Thus, the RGK D120 serves not only as a roulette and calculator, but also as a notepad for writing. Subsequently, the data can be downloaded from the device's memory to a PC.

Ergonomic design

The RGK D120 case is made of soft and pleasant to the touch plastic with a corrugated surface for a more comfortable position in the hand. The device can withstand a fall from a height of up to 1 meter, and is also protected from dust and water splashes inside the case. Convex buttons allow you to work with gloves even blindly.

The case has a groove for attaching the strap to the arm, a screw for mounting on a ¼" tripod and a folding bracket.
