The desktop lathe from JET BD-11G is delivered on a pedestal and has the most powerful motor in the line of desktop lathes from JET 1.1 kW. The motor is asynchronous, connected to a conventional household network and has a power consumption of 1.5 kW. Thanks to the asynchronous motor, there is no loss of torque on the machine, and the spindle speeds are changed by shifting the belt on the pulleys. There are six speeds in total, ranging from 150 revolutions per minute to 2000 rpm. The distance between the centers is 700 mm, the maximum diameter above the bed is 280 mm. The BD-11G machine is capable of performing all the operations of a lathe. The machine provides for the possibility of cutting right and left threads, automatic longitudinal feeding of the caliper, the possibility of turning the tool holder for threading small cones, adjusting the tailstock for threading large cones. The machine has a 3-stage feed box, which allows you to change the thread pitch or the automatic feed speed without replacing the gears. All gears installed on the machine are made of metal. The machine is supplied complete with a 3-cam chuck and a fixed lunette. Everything else can be purchased as needed – this is a 4-cam cartridge, a movable lunette, a coolant station, a faceplate, cutters and many other accessories.
