Description
The RILON TIG 400 P AC/DC DIGITAL PTK device is designed for industrial use, welding with a non-melting tungsten electrode at direct current (DC) of metals such as steel, nickel, copper and their alloys. Welding of aluminum and its alloys is performed on alternating current (AC). When using the pulse mode, the device can weld products with small thicknesses in inert gases, which prevents metal burning and deformation.
Special convenience in the operation of the device is achieved due to an understandable Russified control panel and a cyclogram.
Features:
- The device can perform welding on direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) with PULSE. PULSE mode is ideal for working with metals of different thicknesses.
- Using special settings, you can select a mixed welding mode, which will include TIG (AC) and TIG (DC). This mode is marked as "MIX" on the panel.
- The device provides adjustment of welding current and voltage in TIG DC and TIG AC modes.
- The presence of synergetic settings for welding process control. In AC and MIX modes, after enabling this functionality, the AC current balance is automatically adjusted, and it can be adjusted in the range from -10% to +10%. After disabling this function, the AC balance can be adjusted in the range from -40 to +20.
- It is possible to switch the operating modes of the welding torch. The function is applicable for welding short or long seams - 2T/4T/SPOT.
- You can connect a remote control pedal to the machine and select the operating mode of the TIG "REP" welding torch in MIX, TIG (DC) and TIG (AC) modes. Even in remote control mode, the peak current is regulated by a pedal. The remote control is purchased separately and is not included in the standard package.
- On the front panel of the device there is a Russified cyclogram, which simplifies the work with the inverter, making it more comfortable and faster.
- The device in TIG mode can weld metals with tungsten electrodes with a diameter of 1.0–4.0 mm.
- The package includes a water-cooled TIG 18 series burner. The welding torch can be connected to a liquid cooling unit. The unit is not included in the package.
- The device has an additional function of manual arc welding MMA. If you work in MMA mode, then for welding metals it is necessary to use electrodes with a base and rutile coating with a diameter of 1.5–5.0 mm.
