Why you shouldn't skimp on the quality of springs
If it comes to the choice of springs, then buying a cheap, but not too high-quality product can cause production to stop and large losses if serious units fail. The purchase of spare parts and repairs will take time, and downtime will cost much more than the cost of good springs. In addition, if a machine, conveyor, or agricultural machinery breaks down, you can lose not only time, but also entire batches of products, which will increase costs. The same can be said about replacing initially reliable components with cheaper ones during repair or modernization of equipment. The savings may seem significant at first, but they will be more than offset by increased operating costs.
The more terrible consequences are that low-quality springs can not only harm production, but also become a threat to health and life. Gas springs for furniture or pneumatic weapons, car suspension springs, springs used in medical equipment, in case of sudden breakdown or non-compliance with technical requirements, can cause injuries and maiming. This is relevant both for buyers who purchase springs for themselves, for example, to repair cars, and for enterprises that have produced products with low-quality springs. The latter face lawsuits and loss of reputation in the market.
High–quality products are the key to profitable work
Of course, the opposite situations are also possible, when the customer is ready to pay a high price for a product of suitable quality, but spring manufacturers save on production, in fact, deceiving their customers. Such "cost minimization" is also highly questionable from the point of view of both professional ethics and cost reduction. Having once purchased a batch of defective or non–conforming goods, the customer will no longer contact such an organization, and a stain on reputation in highly competitive conditions is a direct path to losses.
STAMO values its business image and the trust of its customers, and therefore chooses a different path. To increase profits, we do not reduce the cost of raw materials or equipment and do not save on personnel, but increase production capacity and attract new customers with high quality products and an individual approach to solving work tasks.
We strive to expand our range and offer a wide range of springs for various purposes, some of which have no analogues, in particular, springs with a rectangular wire section. Another example is springs with a wire diameter of up to 80 mm, capable of operating under heavy load. In this case, the winding of the springs is carried out by the hot method, which practically no one does in our country.
The priority for STAMO is not one-time savings, but long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with customers, which cannot be achieved by neglecting the quality of the product.
