Electrical components

The main requirements for the chain pulling shaft are high steel density and proper hardening.

Parts in Chinese analogues have casting defects. Such parts are supposed to be rejected, but they can be put in the product for those buyers who are looking for "cheaper" in China. Of course, this part is working, but its service life will be significantly lower than expected. There are still doubts that the alloy and quenching meet the standards.

The brake disc is conical, mounted on the shaft of the electric motor, has an electromagnetic drive. In the de-energized position, the brake blocks the shaft. When voltage is applied to the motor, the disc is retracted by an electromagnet and the motor shaft is released for rotation. The main thing in the photo is saving the brake layer, such a brake disc with a thin friction layer will require replacement faster.

A large factory will not take such a chain, and small enterprises will purchase it at a discount for small-scale batches.

We can definitely say that this chain is bad and we cannot throw it out. There are no cracks or deformations on it. It does not fall under the criteria of culling. But the fact that a batch of hoists with such a chain will cost less is for sure.
