What is a WFP sink?
To understand the question "What is a WFP sink?" let's turn to the history:
The American entrepreneur Irve Taker became the innovator of an unconventional way to wash buildings. For the first time, he launched a new technological method of washing the facades of his activities in the 50s at that time. To facilitate his work, he docked the brush to an aluminum rod, which allowed him to speed up his work. Subsequently, he improved the quality of his services by applying purified water that had been demineralized with deionizing resin through a reverse osmosis filter.
The new method of providing facade cleaning services was called Water Fed Pole (briefly – WFP). Literally, this concept can be translated as water supply to a height. Buildings are cleaned from the ground using lightweight rods with brushes and specially prepared water.
The Water Fed Pol building cleaning method has two distinctive features:
- using deionized clean water
- using super-light barbells and special brush heads
Water that has undergone special treatment (filtration and deionization) does not contain any salts or other impurities, so that after drying, there are no traces (stains and deposits) from droplets, as well as stains from wiping, on the surfaces. This is the most important indicator for washing glasses, stained glass windows or glossy surfaces. Due to its highly active chemical properties, the water obtained from the CASCADE ionic 1D device completely removes dirt from the surface of brick, panel, glass, granite, wooden, painted and other facades.

When carrying out the work, the operator uses telescopic carbon rods with brushes at the end, which are supplied with purified water from the CASCADE ionic Techno S station. The WFP technology is considered the safest, because it allows you to wash the facade of a building (glazing, stained glass, panels, plaster, brick, etc.) from the ground without resorting to the help of special equipment and climbers.
As a rule, the facade is washed at a height of 14-16 m, and in some cases, if the rod configuration allows, then at a height of up to 24 m.
Cascade offers a wide range of barbells ranging in height from 15 to 50 feet in its complexes. Thanks to this, you can perform facade cleaning work of any complexity more efficiently.

WFP Equipment for cleaning facades and windows of buildings.
All the WFP tools can be classified as autonomous (which does not require an external connection to an energy source and water) and non-autonomous or semi–autonomous (when either external 220V power supply or connection to a water supply system is needed) - the type of autonomous or non-autonomous washing depends on the characteristics of the facility and the specific situation. The equipment is also divided into mono- and multi-operator, when the work is performed by one person or several from one station. It depends on the performance of the station, the set of equipment and your willingness to provide fast and high-quality services. All CASCADE ionic stations are high-performance and highly efficient (even on the basic model, two operators can work simultaneously).
In addition to all of the above, the equipment may or may not be mobile, of course, it depends on its size, dimensions and weight.
The CASCADE ionic WFP complexes are designed not only for the highly productive provision of building cleaning services, but also for mobility as well. This means that just one operator can handle any task on the site without resorting to outside help.
Cascade Ionic equipment applications
- Window cleaning and building facades
- Cleaning of industrial facilities
- Cleaning of cultural heritage sites and socially useful structures (monuments, art objects)
- Cleaning of playgrounds, sports grounds, stadiums
- Car and special equipment washing
- Washing of sea and river vessels (washing of motor ships, yachts, ships, landing stages, etc.)
- Preparation of drinking water (high quality)
- Watering plants, etc. (removal of nitrates from water)
To wash the facades of buildings quickly, efficiently and efficiently, you NO longer NEED to call for help from industrial climbers and call for special equipment. The WFP technology of washing facades and buildings, will help to cope with any work.
