New KNIPEX CoBolt® S

Share:
The compact bolt cutter further simplifies the cutting of products with a round cross-section. The CoBolt® S with a 25x increase in force is now available in a version with a notch on the cutting edge. In this way, this popular compact bolt cutter can even more effectively cut products with a circular cross-section.

KNIPEX complements the CoBolt ® range of bolt cutters with a new version of its smallest representative. The CoBolt® S 160 mm is now available with a notch in the rugged 64 HRC cutting edge. Bolts, rivets and nails with a diameter of up to 4.4 mm and particularly strong materials such as piano strings and spring steel with a diameter of 3.3 mm can now be cut in one movement thanks to the recess located next to the hinge. Increasing the lever by approaching the hinge makes it easier to cut products with a large cross-section.

In addition to the version with the notch

The KNIPEX CoBolt® S non-recess bolt cutter is used for frequent cutting of thin wire. In all versions, laser sharpening of the cutting edge is used, which prevents the product from slipping. In addition, the small, thin head of the pliers allows you to work even in hard-to-reach places. The serrated gripper surface below the hinge can be used to pull a wire with a diameter of at least 1 mm, for example, when building fences or removing nails from walls or wood; this means that a second tool is not required.

The compact bolt cutter is made of high-strength chrome vanadium steel and undergoes multi-stage oil quenching. With its increased cutting capacity, the CoBolt ® bolt cutter The S has a narrow shape and a small-width handle. Its length is 160 mm, which makes it convenient for people with a small palm size, and its weight is only 200 g, which makes it easier to use for long-term work. This tool can be stored anywhere – even in the pocket of a jacket or trousers. Its small, thin head allows you to work even in hard-to-reach places.
