A new word in the printing industry: LLC RIG presents the innovative lid-making machine KDM Officer, designed for the real conditions of printing houses!

RIG Company, a well-known developer and supplier of printing equipment, announces the launch of sales of the new universal lid-making machine (KDM) Officer. This is not just another model in the line, but the result of an in-depth market analysis, collected feedback from existing printing houses and purposeful design to meet the demands of modern production. Officer is designed to become a workhorse for small and medium-sized enterprises, dramatically increasing their productivity, product quality and operator comfort.

We solve the main tasks: from hardware to the human factor

The RIG developers have set themselves an ambitious goal: to create a machine that is technically perfect, but at the same time as user-friendly as possible. Every aspect was taken into account: from the limitations of the engineering infrastructure of the premises to the physical fatigue of the operator at the end of the working day. The result is a platform where ergonomics and reliability are elevated to the rank of key technologies.

Technological superiority: the heart and intelligence of a machine

Format versatility without compromise:

  • Maximum:The expanded 500x1000mm format opens the door to the production of large folders, albums, and third-format publications.
  • Minimum: A unique opportunity to work with the 50x50 mm format for the production of certificates, diplomas, passes, and business cards - high-margin products that are often unavailable for standard CDMS.

Energy and Operational Autonomy ("Plug & Play" concept):

  • 220V power supply: Operation from a conventional household outlet eliminates the need for expensive power grid upgrades.
  • Airless design: The machine does not require a compressor or a compressed air system. This means zero costs for additional equipment, absolute quiet operation and the ability to install in office centers without violating sanitary standards.

Intelligent feedback control system:

  • The centralized digital panel allows you to flexibly adjust every parameter: from line speed (up to 1 m/s) to the torque of the edge bending brushes.
  • Cycle delay adjustment is an innovation that takes into account the human factor. The operator can adjust the pace of the machine to his own rhythm, which is crucial to maintain high productivity without errors and throughout the shift.

Secure and "smart" glue machine – a guarantee of uninterrupted operation:

  • Shaft friction protection: A special system prevents catastrophic breakdowns in case of accidental ingress of a foreign object (scraps of material, tools) into the mechanism.
  • The floating upper shaft with spring suspension eliminates the risk of bending the axle and costly repairs when winding the liner.
  • Two-channel temperature control and a water vapor return system (up to 60%) in the glue bath solve key problems: overheating of the glue, its premature drying and viscosity changes. This ensures stable sizing quality and material savings.
  • The lightweight tub lifting mechanism (force ~5 kg) is designed with anthropometry in mind, making maintenance quick and accessible to any operator.

Ergonomics revolution: operator in the spotlight

Realizing that the main user of the equipment is often a female operator, RIG engineers rethought their approach to the workplace.

  • Single-pedal electrical control: The modern wired pedal can be fixed in any position convenient for the operator (sitting or standing). This frees up your hands, minimizes unnecessary movements, and dramatically reduces fatigue.
  • Freedom of pose and quick control: The operator is no longer tied to one static pose. The ability to instantly produce a control sample for approval without stopping the conveyor and resetting settings saves time and increases customer orientation.
  • A human-tailored process: All key adjustments (selection of the direction of delivery of the finished lid, adjustment of the angle of material capture, control of brushes) are displayed on the panel and can be performed by the operator independently, without calling the adjuster.

KDM Officer is a fully functional line for manufacturing the entire range of binding covers and performing cashing work. The machine is compatible with all types of semi-rigid materials: balacron, lederin, bumvinyl, fabric (calico), wivela and others.

To achieve maximum speed and quality, the company recommends using specialized BRICOL glue of the KJ-115 brand, optimized for high-speed machines with a short open exposure time.

Conclusion: Investing in efficiency and growth

KDM Officer is more than just equipment. This is a strategic solution for a printing company that allows you to:

  • Diversify production by taking orders for small and large-format products.
  • Reduce operating costs by saving on electricity, avoiding compressor costs, and reducing the risk of downtime due to breakdowns.
  • Increase staff loyalty and efficiency through a safe and comfortable workplace.
  • Minimize the "entry threshold" to start the production of book covers due to the ease of installation and mastering.

The new product is already available for order. In the near future, RIG will present detailed video reviews that clearly demonstrate all the competitive advantages of KDM Officer in operation.

RIG LLC remains faithful to the philosophy of creating equipment that not only performs a function, but becomes a reliable partner in the business development of our clients.
