Disc mulchers "Funk"
Disc mulchers are harrowing-rolling aggregates used for surface tillage in the cultivation of agricultural crops. This type of agricultural equipment provides destruction of the root system of plants, sealing of carrion, crushing (mulching) of crop residues and weeds in the treated soil layer, crushing of clods, leveling and rolling of the field surface.
Design features of disk mulchers of the "Funk" series
Original spherical discs of our own production made of wear-resistant steel 30MpV5, mounted on elastic-sleeve elements (rubber shock absorbers), are used as working bodies on mulchers.
The two-row counter-flow arrangement and autonomous elastokinematic fastening of disks to the machine frame with an optimal angle of attack and at a close distance from each other provide a vibration-commutative tillage process that implements the "mill effect". All this makes it possible to effectively destroy weeds, intensively grind and mix stubble and crop residues, significantly reduce the traction resistance of the unit and ensure its operation at high speeds. The discs are attached to the hubs from the outside, which increases the reliability of the unit.
The installation of each disk on an individual rack with elastic elements protects the working bodies and the frame structure from peak loads, increasing the reliability and operability of the unit, and the continuously changing inter-disk space eliminates clogging of the gun and allows you to work in conditions of high humidity. The mulcher's loop in the form of ring rollers makes it possible to effectively level and compact the surface of the field after the passage of the discs in order to preserve moisture, prevent water and wind erosion.
The design solutions used in our production mulchers have the following advantages:
- Elastomeric kinematics, in contrast to the suspension of working bodies on pre-compressed springs, more effectively removes vibration loads on the fastening of working bodies and the frame structure, and even more smoothly transmits peak power loads to the gun frame;
- In the design of the working bodies, a reliable, and at the same time maintainable bearing assembly is used, developed by the designers of the enterprise in close cooperation with leading researchers of the Kuban Agrarian University, the Kuban Machine Testing Station and such well-known domestic designers of agricultural machinery as P.A. Bondarenko, V.V. Abaev, N.B. Grin, I.V. Vertikov In the case of failure of the bearing assembly, under the brand "Kubanzheldormash" does not require replacement of the hub assembly with a bearing and seal. The design of the bearing units of the mulchers provides for the use of domestic automotive bearings and seals, which allows for maintenance and repair in the conditions of a field team without resorting to the services of specialized service centers;
- Unlike some foreign analogues that are not adapted to Russian soil and climatic operating conditions that do not ensure the rolling of the treated soil layer, the ring rollers of mulchers provide better leveling and rolling of the soil, and the use of cleaners allows the unit to be operated in conditions of high humidity and in the presence of a large number of crop residues;
- Bearing assemblies of ring rollers TIR-6.5 have a greater margin of safety.
