Gedore presents the TORCOFIX 2.0 torque wrench

With the TORCOFIX 2.0 torque wrench from GEDORE comes a solution,
which allows the user to control the tightening almost intuitively

The ergonomic handle of the key and the mechanism of precise actuation, as well as a clearly readable scale with a fixed value, ensure accurate and safe operation in industry and service. A new generation torque wrench; designed and built taking into account GEDORE's experience in the development of a torque tool.

Double scale with limb for high accuracy

Maximum accuracy when setting the torque is achieved with the help of a new protected subscript scale of the Limb. Depending on the TORCOFIX 2.0 model, these are steps from 0.5 to 1 Nm. In combination with the new improved dual scale (Nm/lbf·ft), the highest accuracy is achieved.

Reading the double scale has become much easier, even in poor lighting conditions, thanks to optimized high-contrast coloring.

Thanks to the protective glasses installed above the scale and the limb, the readings are read in any conditions. Complex transformations from Nm to lbf*ft are no longer needed, the scales are located parallel to each other, lbf*ft are displayed in italics. The scales are aligned vertically so that reading is equally easy for both right-handed and left-handed people.

Intuitive operation

The audible tactile response of TORCOFIX 2.0 is perceived even more precisely thanks to the new, ergonomically optimized handle. Its convex shape is based on the natural grip of the hand.

In order to work accurately, you need your hand to lie in the middle of the handle. Thanks to the ring slot in the middle of the handle and the new shape of the handle, the hand intuitively grips the handle in the optimal position.

After setting the torque, the value is securely fixed until a change of value is required. This was made possible thanks to a secure lock on the end of the handle.

Easy to install the moment

Torque adjustment is simplified due to the created ergonomic arm support recesses on the static part of the key.

Secure storage

Any TORCOFIX 2.0 user, putting a key between technological operations, can count on an important feature: TORCOFIX 2.0 will always lie where it was put. The bald patches on the static part of the key handle do not allow TORCOFIX 2.0

Controlled left- and right-hand twisting

The wrench is suitable for precise tightening of conventional and left-hand threaded connections. To change the direction of controlled rotation, simply pull out the mushroom drive head, turn the key and insert the drive back in.

Safe operation

Thanks to the matte surface, TORCOFIX 2.0 does not glare in the sun and does not irritate the eyes.

Automatic concept

When the specified torque is reached, TORCOFIX 2.0 tactile and sound informs the operator.

Automatic key restart is a plus in an efficient workflow. The torque wrench is ready to work again, without a new setting.

Simply and safely replaceable drive

The design of the TORCOFIX 2.0 series ratchet head provides a simple and uncomplicated replacement of drives. All 1/2" drive squares are equipped with mushroom heads, and 3/4" versions are in the form of square inserts that have a built-in locking mechanism.

Thus, the drives of the end heads are always securely attached to the ratchet mechanism of the key and cannot accidentally fall even with vibration. Ball or pin locks prevent spontaneous disconnection of the drive from the key.

Better than standard

For your safety, we even exceed the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6789-2: 2017 by adjusting the maximum error of the installed torque to +/-3%.

GEDORE support is maintained even after the warranty period. Repair, adjustment, calibration, verification (on request).

Verification is carried out in an independent laboratory with the subsequent issuance of a numbered certificate. Key verification is extended after annual key maintenance.
