Erbend EMS Guillotine Shears
Guillotine shears are a device designed for cutting sheet and strip metal from steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys. They are used at the initial stage of production for direct longitudinal and transverse cutting of the material.
The principle of operation of guillotine scissors is based on the use of an oblique movable knife that moves in the same plane without changing the angle of inclination. This allows you to reduce the required cutting force and practically eliminate metal loss in the form of chips.
The main purpose of guillotine shears is the cutting of sheet material in the procurement industry. They allow you to make straight cuts, but not clippings. To hold the material during cutting, some models are equipped with a pressure press with a mechanical or hydraulic drive.

The EMS series are guillotine shears of increased power. Reliable and durable mechanical design, the presence of a gap adjustment mechanism, a sheet support system and front movable calipers are included in the basic configuration.
EMS guillotines are equipped with a 750 mm or 1000 mm deep drive rear stop, driven by ballscrews and programmable in an Omron touch-screen control system. Various front rails and pneumatic thin sheet support systems can also be installed on the EMS.

- A set of knives. Upper knife - 2 cutting edges, Lower knife - 2 cutting edges

- The supporting grid for EMS. Pneumatic rotary grille at the rear, optionally feed forward or backward (optional)
- The clamping plate for fixing the sheet is solid for the entire length. Fixes the sheet during the rub.
- Safety grille at the back of the guillotine scissors. Fixed side protective panels and a light curtain at the back.
- Front movable caliper. It doesn't matter what size the workpiece is, it will still be convenient to chop.
