Evolution of RJ-45 patch cords: 24, 26, 28, 30 AWG - up to 32 AWG
Hyperline has introduced new RJ-45 patch cords with 32 AWG (0.24 mm) ultra-thin cores. Patch cords are produced in an unshielded version (U/UTP) for category 6 cable systems. The outer shell is made of a low-smoke halogen-free compound LSZH (ng(A) - HF version).
Thus, Hyperline patch cords with category 6 RJ-45 connectors will now be represented by the most complete line of conductor calibers-24, 26, 28, 30 and 32 AWG - with cable sheath diameters from 6.2 to 2.8 mm.
The RJ-45 patch cords with ultra-thin 32 AWG (0.24 mm) conductors are maximally optimized for high-density switching. The cable diameter is only 2.8 mm, which is ideal for high-density systems that require space saving and free passage of air flows.
The reduced conductor diameter of 0.24 mm (32 AWG) and the uniquely thin 4-pair cable with a diameter of 2.8 mm provide a bending radius of up to 12 mm, allowing you to save valuable space in data centers, large server rooms and high-density switching locations. The new ultra-compact design of the connectors, which are connected to the ports almost flush, is ideal for high port density.
