Zaporozhye plant was founded on September 1, 1879 as a mechanical and copper foundry of Menzies for the production of simple agricultural machines.

In October 1958, the plant was completely rebuilt to produce specialized metalworking tools: cutters equipped with a hard alloy; end and end mills; taps with a polished profile; rotating centers; rollers for knurling threads. Since 1959, it has been called - " Zaporozhye Tool Factory named after him. Voykova".

In 1978, end mills for machine tools with numerical control were put into production; all products of the plant – 120 standard sizes of tools.

In the mid-90s, in accordance with the State Program of Privatization, the plant was transformed into an open joint stock company and after the consolidation of shares – into a closed joint stock company.

Now "Zaporozhye Tool Plant" is one of the largest and widely known manufacturers of taps, cutters, drills, and gauges. The trademark of the plant has long been a symbol of quality and stability thanks to an individual approach to customers, quality proven for decades, regular implementation of the latest technologies and developments.
