About company
Tyumen Battery Plant is a leading manufacturer of batteries in Russia. To ensure stable operation, the plant has established units for the collection of secondary raw materials, built and equipped with its own equipment a site for the processing of battery scrap, production of lead-antimony alloy, calcium alloy, pure lead and polypropylene recovery.
Company history:
1941
The Tyumen Battery Plant began its history in December 1941, when an evacuated factory from Podolsk arrived in the city. In February 1942, the first batch of batteries was assembled. At that time, it was the only operating battery factory. The output reached a little more than 100 thousand batteries per year.
1971
After the reconstruction of the plant, which was essentially a new construction, production began on new premises in 1971. The range of manufactured products at that time consisted of four names of batteries.
1985
In 1985, for the first time in the country, the Tyumen Battery Plant began production of maintenance-free batteries with a capacity of 55 ah using equipment purchased in Austria. At the same time, the plant organized its own production of monoblocks made of plastics for this type of battery.
1987
In 1987, the plant was headed by Alexander Vasilyevich Korelyakov, who was invited from the position of chief engineer of the Tyumen Engine-Building Association. During this period, a new stage in the company's development began. The narrow range of products and production volumes did not satisfy consumers. At the same time, related factories began to stand idle due to the inflationary processes taking place in the country. It was decided to expand the range of products as soon as possible, increase the production of batteries and start manufacturing components of our own manufacture.
2001
From 1987 to 2001, the plant mastered and upgraded 14 new types of batteries for cars, buses and tractors, 2 types of batteries for motorcycles, 2 types of batteries for railway locomotives, 6 types of stationary batteries for power plants, communication centers and gas pumping units, 3 types of batteries for electric outdoor vehicles.

In addition, the Tyumen Battery Plant produces and sells spare parts and accessories for the repair of all types of batteries, electrolyte.
The quality management system of the Tyumen Battery Plant is certified for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001.
After the organization of production facilities for the production of polypropylene monoblocks, the plant fully meets its needs for these components.
A network of sales offices for the sale of the plant's products has been established, which are located in 50 major cities of Russia and the CIS countries.
The long-term goals and objectives that the Tyumen Battery Plant has set for itself are to maintain the traditionally high level of production and quality of batteries, to create promising battery models in order to meet the needs of industrial consumers and individuals.
