SKT Engineering LLC inherited the rich experience of its predecessor, the machine-building enterprise Pskovelectrosvar (former TESO). Our commitment to quality began with the founding of TESO in 1973, a key organization in the region specializing in the production of welding machines. Working in such a critical area as welding large diameter pipes for main gas pipelines required attention to detail and constant laboratory quality control at every stage. This approach instilled in us a culture of quality control.

The results of the welding complexes were constantly subjected to rigorous testing, in which our employees took part. In this process, each weld, each connected element was subjected to strict tests, including assessment of impact toughness, static tension and bending, as well as hardness analysis. These tests ensure that each welded joint is reliable and safe. On the same production site, next to TESO, in 1996 the company Pskovgeokabel began operating. This company specialized in the production of load-bearing cables, cable-pipe systems (KTS) and industrial cables. The proximity of these production facilities facilitated the exchange of experience and knowledge, which allowed for the expansion of competencies in the field of testing and analysis of products.
