The company "SKIF-M" was created in 1993 from the scientific laboratory and the site of special structures of the Belgorod mill plant, which since 1978 solved the tasks of processing products of aerospace technology. Specializes in the production of milling cutters with replaceable non-sharpenable plates made of hard alloy and replaceable carbide plates for milling. All designs of the manufactured tool are created in our own design office.

The wide program of modern high-quality milling cutters with replaceable cutting plates made of hard alloy, currently produced by the company "SKIF-M" represents the results of more than thirty years of research in the field of applied mechanics and material processing by cutting. Modern highly mobile production, based on the use of solid-state modeling, CAD/CAM systems and five-axis machining centers connected to a network with a computer, ensures the production in a short time of not only serial, but also special milling cutters, also exported, including to Germany and the United States. More than 50% of the production program is occupied by special milling cutters, including those for the aviation industry and the automotive industry. The standard program of milling cutters with replaceable plates covers a range of diameters from 6 to 1000 mm.

• Develops technical processes for high-performance milling of customer parts with SKIF-M milling cutters and control programs for CNC machines with program development and production of the first part.
  
• Testing of programs as well as testing of new developments is carried out in the SKIF-M test center on modern equipment.

More than 75% of all tools produced at SKIF-M are milling cutters for aerospace materials. Created as a result of their own scientific research, carried out in cooperation with leading scientific organizations in Russia, milling cutters for high-performance processing of high-strength titanium and heat-resistant nickel alloys, as well as milling cutters for high-speed processing of aluminum alloys, occupy a leading position in the world.
