Saransk tool was created on the basis of JSC "Saranskinstrument".
JSC "Saranskinstrument" was established in 1954 for the production of files, and in 1976 a production facility for the production of rotation centers was created and a buildingof 10,000 m2was built, the number of workers was 500 people and the production of centers was 20,000 pcs. per month. In the difficult 90s, the plant survived, but in 2003, the plant accumulated debts of 100 million rubles and it went bankrupt.
